Sunday, April 13: Lot Beautification, Urban Gardening, and Service Learning with the Jewish Farm School (West Philadelphia)
Join our newest initiative, the Philly Farm Crew, and volunteer to help beautify a vacant lot in West Philadelphia at the Ahimsa House (5007 Cedar Avenue) from 1:00pm to 4:00pm for a community garden in the spring, including garden bed prep, fencing, and various other construction projects. Stay for lunch and a discussion surrounding service as a means to address hunger in your community.
