Recruitment Message for STUDENT FELLOWS:
SPARC, The Sustainable Philadelphia Alliance of Regional Campuses, is currently seeking Student Fellows for the 2014-2015 academic year.
SPARC was launched in January 2014 to promote collaboration among sustainability groups from Philadelphia-area colleges and universities. SPARC seeks to provide a platform for communication and resource-sharing to improve students’ impact on the sustainability of their campuses.
Each Philadelphia-area school will be represented by two student fellows. Involvement in SPARC will provide invaluable leadership experience along with networking opportunities. In its inaugural year, SPARC will be hosting a regional student sustainability conference along with monthly events designed to bring students together on specific topics. Fellows will have the opportunity to lead a working group in an area of their expertise and will be in a unique position to make an impact on the sustainability of their campuses.
Fellow terms last one full year, with the option to reapply if still enrolled in university. We ask that all applicants be available to meet at 7:30pm on Tuesdays and to please hold that time on their calendars.
